Robert Pattinson has stepped into the charity ring this holiday season!
A Fender Telecaster autographed by theTwilight star himself is now up for auction on Ebay! Thinking about placing a bid on the item? The current price (the last time I checked) was $2,850. With a little over two days left to go for the auction, it’s likely that the bids will continue to grow higher.
The auction, however, is being held to support the Midnight Mission, a Los Angeles based non-profit charity organization dedicated to helping change the lives of California’s homeless population.
According to the auction listing, Pattinson was at Norm’s Rare Guitars when the owner approached him and asked if he would be willing to sign the guitar for a charity auction. Rob said yes and now the guitar is available for any fan who is interested in helping out the charity during this especially difficult holiday season. There is no actual photograph of Rob on the auction listing, but according to the description there are photos of him and the guitar available for authentication. From the sounds of it, the auctioneers are in alignment with the Respect Rob philosophy, and avoided posting the photos to help with Rob’s privacy.
